Description:

For much of the early medieval period, the sword continued to remain a symbol of status. Generally, nobility were the only class to wear swords in times of peace. Knights of course were proficient in swordsmanship and could also be found wearing one. Swords were often carried with the use of a baldric or frog. Since nobility wore their swords with elaborate clothing, these accessories came from simple to very ornate with decorations of jewels and other metals. This engaging leather frog is hand crafted with special care for persons that are left handed. This frog features two belt loops fastened with steel rivets to steel rings. The adjustable sheath is tied together with a leather lace. Not only does it hold rapiers but being adjustable this frog can be sized to fit broadswords or short swords.
