Alchemy is a practice akin to magic, it’s origins in places like Egypt and Greece. It was used to understand the world better on a scientific level, with a focus on attempting to change materials into something else. The concept of the philosopher’s stone was always so fascinating to me. With the most interesting modern take being in the anime Full Metal Alchemist.

this ring is hand carved with the symbols cut in by hand. Each is cast in sterling silver and oxidized. I hand finished each piece.
