Each player takes on the role of a Component of a Family (which may go beyond blood relations to include close friends, motorcycle gangs, cults, or any bonded group) who have yet to fully face a past trauma that has damaged their bonds.

The story unfolds in five stages, mirroring the five stages of grief, as players answer the haunting question, "What happened that day, and why doesn't anyone want to talk about it?"
